Who we are
UGCFriday is operated by Cendryn LLC, which decides why and how the personal data described here is processed. This notice explains what we collect, why, and the control you have.
UGCFriday serves creators and Brands in India and the United States and is open to people elsewhere to browse. Service providers may process data outside your country.
We keep account data, Profiles and files in the United States, with our hosting, database and file-storage providers. If you use UGCFriday from outside the United States, including from India, your data is transferred there.
Our automated safety checks use Google Cloud AI through a global service. This processing is not restricted to the United States or your country.
If you had an account on the earlier service
On 16 October 2026, accounts from the earlier service were copied to UGCFriday, so that people can keep the same account here.
We copied your email address and whether it was verified, your sign-in identifier, your name and, where you gave one, your country, your Profile or Brand profile with the details, links, Work and photos you added, and any Briefs you wrote, which are kept as drafts.
We did not copy your password, which we never read, your notifications, applications you sent to Briefs, or the few profile details that UGCFriday has no place for.
A Profile that was public on the earlier service is public on UGCFriday from the copy, before its owner first signs in.
The first time you sign in, we ask you to accept the UGCFriday terms and this notice. If you would rather not, choose "Decline and sign out", then use the contact page and write from the email address on your account, and we will delete the copy.
The earlier service is closing. We keep an archive of its data for 90 days after it closes, only to answer questions about a moved account, and then delete the archive.
Data we collect
- Account data. When you sign up we receive your email address, and a unique identifier and an email-verified flag from our sign-in provider.
- Profile data. What you choose to publish: your handle, name, crafts, city, languages, Work, Packages and links. A Profile is public at its link, so signed-out visitors can see it.
- Quote requests. When you ask a creator for a Quote without signing in, we ask for your email and confirm it with a code. The request is visible to the creator you asked.
- Briefs and Proposals. What you write in a Brief or a Proposal is visible to the people it is sent to and, for an open Brief, to those who can see the Brief.
- Profile statistics. Profile owner statistics use first-party visits, sources, link clicks and Quote requests, without trackers.
- Technical data. Our servers log requests, and we set cookies that keep you signed in. We set no advertising cookies. If a page fails, we may send a short error report, with no account content, to our error-monitoring provider.
How we use your data
- To run UGCFriday: to sign you in, to show Profiles, to carry Briefs, Proposals, Quote requests and messages between the people involved, and to send account messages.
- To keep the service safe, we check uploaded images automatically for unsafe content using Google Cloud AI.
- To keep the service safe, we check links on a Profile against a list of unsafe sites.
- We also use Google Cloud AI to check submitted text for scams, abuse, unsafe content and attempts to move payment off the platform. Depending on the feature you use, this can include Profile and Brand descriptions, Briefs, Proposals, Quote requests, Quotes and messages.
- Automated checks can delay publication or message delivery, or add a warning. Flagged content can be reviewed by authorized moderators, who can see the content and information relevant to that review. Automated checks can make mistakes. To ask us to review a safety decision, use the contact page.
- We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your messages or files for advertising.
Who we share it with
Service providers that process data on our behalf, each receiving only what its function needs.
- Our sign-in provider, for authentication.
- Our hosting, database and file-storage providers.
- Our email provider, to deliver sign-in and account messages.
- Our image-screening provider, Google Cloud, receives the images needed to check for unsafe content.
- Google Cloud receives submitted text needed for automated safety checks, including message text when you use Inbox. Authorized UGCFriday moderators receive the content and context needed to investigate flagged content or reports.
- Our link-safety provider, which receives the link you add to a Profile so it can be checked against a list of unsafe sites.
- Our error-monitoring provider, which receives short error reports that carry no account content.
- The other people involved: a creator sees what a brand sends them, such as a Quote request, a Brief or a message, and a brand sees what a creator sends back.
- Law enforcement or regulators, where we are legally required to disclose.
Retention and deletion
- Account and Profile data is kept while your account exists.
- Sign-in records are deleted 30 days after they are used or expire.
- An uploaded file that has not been accepted is deleted after seven days.
You can delete your account in Settings, after a check for outstanding obligations. We keep only the records the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we process it, to have inaccurate data corrected or incomplete data completed, and to have data erased when we no longer need it. You can nominate someone to exercise these rights if you die or become incapacitated, and withdraw a consent you gave.
You can download a copy of your data from Settings.
We respond to a request within the time the law allows.
Withdrawing consent does not undo processing already carried out, and we may still need to keep payment records for the period the law requires.
To make a complaint, use the Grievance page.
Security
Your sign-in session is kept in an HTTP-only cookie. No system is perfectly secure, so please report anything you find through the contact page rather than disclosing it publicly.
Age
UGCFriday is for people aged 18 or older.
